Summary: This presentation discusses raw milk as a source of human illness. It includes a list of common clinical disease profiles in people associated with raw milk consumption. At the conclusion of this session, viewers should be able to describe how raw milk is regulated in the US and list social drivers behind the increasing demand for raw milk and raw milk products in the US. They should also be able to describe how common enteric pathogens are transmitted through raw milk consumption and their associated sequelae. Viewers will also become familiar with the specific risks raw milk consumption poses to children.
