From the Desk of the Executive Vice President...
ACVPM 2011 Exam results!
The 2011 Exam Committee consisted
of Dr. Dale Moore as Chair, Dr. Brian McCluskey as vice-chair and Infectious
Disease SME, Dr. Renee Funk as Environmental Health and Toxicology SME, Dr. Brad
Hildabrand as Food Safety SME, Dr. Katherine Feldman as Public Health SME and
Dr. Roy Berghaus as Epidemiology and Biostatistics SME.
Sixty-one candidates sat for the
essay exam and 75.4% passed this section. Fifty-nine persons sat for the
multiple choice exam and 72.9% passed this section. These passing rates are
about on par with previous years’ passing rates for the examination.
Much thanks goes to Diplomate Dr. Gary Bowman and his crew for all
their help with setting up, managing the technical aspects and candidate
accommodations, and helping to proctor the 2011 Exam.
